The HSD connection system is a high-performance, highly shielded data system for low-voltage differential signals with a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω using shielded twisted-pair cables.
The HSD interface developed for the automotive industry provides two differential signal pairs, so that data can be sent not only based on low-voltage differential signals (LVDS), but also for USB 2.0 / 3.0, Ethernet (100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T1, BroadR-Reach) specifications with high shielding efficiency. The relevant transmission characteristics can meet the requirements even under strict cost requirements. With the introduction of automotive Ethernet, the tight structure of HSD is also a compatible solution.
